Overview

In all the time that Microsoft Word has been on the market there has never been a simple way of sending a document to print and being sure it would appear on the right paper, regardless of the printer being used.
In its 12 years of experience with solicitors’ practices in the UK, Kutana has identified this and many other fundamental printing requirements. Not only does Kupris (the new name for KPrint) enable correct tray selection, it also allows the use of watermarks, duplexing (printing on both sides) and even selects the correct printer for you.

• Simple user security prevents users from using colour printing without permission or changing any of the administrative settings.
• Bypass option for those print jobs requiring direct access to the printer driver for selection of some of the more esoteric functions. This is subject to user permissions defined by the administrator
• Logging to a central file. Includes details of who printed, what the document was, which pages, which paper types, how many copies etc.
