What the one-off pieces of software we have written for various clients do, and the technologies we use.

We specialise in document production solutions including creation, revision and distribution. To achieve this we write Windows applications, customise off-the-shelf products and build intranets and websites.

What Our Software Does

Document Creation and Revision

• Word Processing
  Word template development. Routines and Word add-ons to deal with e.g. numbering, styles and footer placement.
• Document Assembly
  Including dialog-driven, system integrated Word templates, mail-merge enhancements and HotDocs development.
• Filing and Retrieval (Document Management)
  Including ODMA development, version-enabled Word hyperlinks and DOCS Open integration.
• Printing Utilities
  Including a Word add-in to simplify complex print jobs and duplexing tools.

Document Distribution

• Sending
  Outlook customisation and integration (with e.g. Word). Also Exchange Server enhancements.
• Publishing
  Intranets and websites.

Other

Complete document production systems, from inception to printing. Also engineering and marketing applications and database programs for trial scheduling and archiving.

Windows Applications
Executables and DLLs, including COM and Microsoft Office add-ins.

Customisation of Off-the-Shelf Software
Microsoft Word, including document templates and add-in templates, VBA, COM add-ins, automation and integration. We also do similar work with the rest of Microsoft Office. Also DOCS Open and HotDocs.

Web and Intranet
CGI programs and ISAPI extensions, and if required, ASP and Java. Also HTML/XHTML, CSS style sheets, JavaScript and JScript, Dreamweaver and Fireworks.

Database
We've built applications using SQL Server, MySQL, NexusDB, FlashFiler and Access and are well versed in Transact and ANSI SQL.
